Last updated · 1 October 2026

These Standards set minimum expectations for suppliers and business partners working with FSC.

01Applicability and acceptance

These Standards apply to suppliers, subcontractors, agents and other business partners providing goods or services to FSC. They complement, and do not replace, applicable law and contractual requirements.

Suppliers are expected to communicate equivalent standards to their workers and relevant subcontractors and to support reasonable verification.

03Human and labour rights

Suppliers must prohibit forced labour, human trafficking, child labour, unlawful discrimination and abusive treatment. Employment must be freely chosen and workers must be treated with dignity.

Suppliers must comply with applicable requirements on wages, working hours, freedom of association and lawful employment. Recruitment fees or practices that unlawfully restrict worker movement are not acceptable.

04Health, safety and security

Suppliers must maintain safe workplaces, equipment and operating procedures, provide appropriate training and personal protective equipment, and report serious incidents affecting FSC services.

Cargo, facilities and transport operations must be protected against theft, tampering, unauthorised access and other security threats. Required security and screening procedures must be followed.

05Environment and climate

Suppliers must comply with environmental permits and controls, prevent pollution and manage waste and hazardous materials responsibly. They should identify material environmental impacts in services provided to FSC.

Where practicable, suppliers should improve energy and resource efficiency and provide reliable emissions or environmental information requested for legitimate reporting purposes.

06Quality and operational resilience

Suppliers must deliver services safely, competently and in accordance with agreed specifications, service levels and relevant industry requirements. They must maintain appropriate contingency arrangements.

Notify FSC promptly of disruptions, quality failures, cargo damage, security incidents or circumstances likely to affect service, and cooperate in corrective action.

07Privacy and information security

Suppliers must protect FSC information and personal data, use them only for authorised purposes and apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.

Report suspected data breaches or unauthorised access without undue delay to the FSC contact specified in the contract. Subcontracting or cross-border data access must be appropriately authorised.

08Due diligence and verification

FSC may conduct proportionate risk-based due diligence, request supporting information and verify compliance through documentation or reasonable audits, subject to contractual and legal safeguards.

Suppliers must provide accurate information and address identified gaps within agreed timeframes. Material changes in ownership, control, service delivery or risk must be disclosed.

09Corrective action and contact

Where a concern is identified, FSC may require a corrective action plan, suspend work or terminate a relationship in accordance with contract and law. Serious or repeated breaches may be referred to authorities.

Questions or reports may be sent to compliance@fastsafecargo.com. Suppliers may also use FSC Speak Up channels; retaliation for good-faith reporting is prohibited.
