Overview

Evidence for informed decisions

Our ESG reporting brings together climate, people and governance information in one place, so customers, partners and employees can assess our performance with evidence rather than claims. Reports are published annually and cover the full calendar year.

The environmental section reports emissions intensity against our 2019 baseline, fuel mix, energy use at facilities and progress on fleet renewal. The social section covers health and safety, training, workforce diversity and community programmes. Governance covers ethics, compliance training, whistleblowing and supplier standards.

Each metric is accompanied by its definition, boundary and calculation method. Where figures are estimated or data coverage is incomplete, we disclose it, and restatements of prior years are explained so trends remain comparable.

  • Annual publication covering the calendar year
  • Emissions intensity against the 2019 baseline
  • Health, safety and workforce indicators
  • Ethics and compliance programme data
  • Definitions and boundaries for every metric
  • Explained restatements of prior-year figures

How we work

A practical, accountable approach

Our teams connect operational decisions with measurable priorities and clear communication.

01

Environment

Emissions intensity, fuel mix, facility energy use and fleet renewal progress, reported against a consistent baseline and boundary.

02

People

Lost-time injury rates, training hours, workforce composition and community investment across our offices and operations.

03

Governance

Code of conduct training, speak-up reports, anti-bribery controls and supplier assessments, summarised with year-on-year comparison.

04

Methodology

Calculation methods aligned with GLEC and ISO 14083, with emission factors, allocation choices and exclusions disclosed.

05

Data tables

Multi-year data tables allow customers and analysts to track trends and incorporate figures into their own supplier assessments.

06

Stakeholder input

Questions from customers, employees and investors inform which topics we prioritise and how we present them.

How it works

From intent to measurable action

A consistent process helps translate priorities into decisions, delivery and review.

  1. 01

    Define the movement

Capture origin, destination, transport mode, cargo weight and relevant shipment or service details. Confirm whether the requested estimate covers a single leg or a multi-leg logistics chain.

  2. 02

    Establish the boundary

Identify included activities and lifecycle scope. For comparable logistics-chain reporting, apply consistent boundaries and disclose exclusions, allocation choices and any material data limitations.

  3. 03

    Apply activity and factors

Calculate transport activity and apply appropriate mode-specific emissions factors. The GLEC Framework provides logistics emissions accounting guidance and is aligned with ISO 14083 requirements for quantifying and reporting transport-chain emissions.

  4. 04

    Review and use responsibly

Check units, assumptions and available data quality, then interpret the result as an estimate. Retain supporting inputs and do not present indicative outputs as independently verified inventory figures.
